Hi all,
This is my first experience with a blog...apparently I get to post my random ramblings and people are just dying to read it, so we'll give it a whirl. I'm setting up this blog because I think it will be a great way to keep family and friends up to date with my next big adventure, which is moving to Seoul, South Korea! I'm moving there to teach Language Arts at Seoul International School...and I don't leave for another 6 months! Needless to say, I'm getting pretty excited. This will be a very exciting 2 years in my life and I'm alternately excited and nervous. It will be hard being away from my friends and family (and my cat, Oliver) for most of the next 2 years, but I'm really grateful for this opportunity.
I have a whole lot to do before I leave, especially getting rid of a lot of my stuff. One thing that I've never had to worry about moving before is all my school stuff, so it will be interesting to see how much of it I take with me to Seoul and how much goes to a storage place in Newport and how much of it stays here.
